The Entertainment Arts programme features a number of exciting and highly competitive events that unearth and showcase the creative talents of many Jamaicans from all walks of life. These events are:
Miss Jamaica Festival Queen Competition
National Children's Gospel Competition
Jamaica Gospel Song Competition
Festival Song Competition
World Reggae Dance Championship
All participants are immersed in a rigorous training and development excercise. This is geared towards their holistic development to maximize their imapact in the cultural and creative industries.
To date, the Festival Song and the Gospel Song Competition have produced entertainers of high calibre that have contributed significantly to the musical landscape of Jamaica. These individuals are: Bob Marley, Toots, Desmond Decker, Eric Donaldson,. Heather Grant, Roy Rayan, Christoper Martin, Lenya Wiilks, Jodian Pantry, Khago, Besenta, and many more.
The World Reggae Dance Championship has produced talented dancers who are taking the dance arena by storm. Many of them have participated in the 'Dancing Dnamite Competition' and the 'Tastee Talent Trail' and have done extremely well. This Competition provides adequate exposure for all

entrants and the honing of talents for greatness.
Many winners of the Miss Jamaica Festival Queen Competition have gone on to higher heights as cultural ambassadors and nation builders. Past National Festival Queens are adding progressive changes to the society by large. Smoe of these queens are: Dahlia Harris, Toni-Shae James Frekleton, Tanesha Mcghie,Marsha Barnett and Sashane McDonald.
